Fallon Attorneys in Nevada – Choose right.

November 18th, 2010

In Northern Nevada, the number of cases requiring an attorney continues to rise.  From people dealing with the challenges of a divorce to the terrible impacts of the recession on housing.  We know large segments of our friends who are in foreclosure and looking at ways to leverage the legal system to help them get back on their feet.

Around Fallon Nevada – qualified attorneys who understand the needs of Northern Nevada can be tough to find.  It’s a small town – dominated by Fallon Naval Air Station and the housing / restaurants that serve the base.  The military can also lead to DUI issues when people have a little bit too much of a good time around Fallon or the Reno area.

When choosing a lawyer, get a good understanding of their education, experience, and track record.  Most importantly, talk to references who have used the attorney and understand what their experience was like.  No matter what your challenge – the Nevada legal system can be a mess to navigate.  Attorneys around Fallon can help you stay in the right position as your case moves through the system for the best possible outcome.

Las Vegas Trip Gone Sour? Get the right Nevada Lawyer.

March 27th, 2009

As we watch countless television shows on the wild partying in Las Vegas – it’s inevitable that some of these stories go wrong. Between prostitution in Nevada, all night liquor availability, and the general “anything goes” atmosphere in Vegas — it doesn’t take a bachelor party to get conventioners out of control.

Once your in the drunk tank or worse in Clark County’s jail — you need the right lawyer and you need them quickly. Make sure to consider experience and background to choose the right lawyer for situation of DUI, prostitution, fighting, and many other offenses we have heard.

Vegas is the ultimate party, but when things go wrong, spend some time getting the right attorney to represent you.

Can you sue your real estate agent for bad advice?

March 27th, 2009

As I think back to the real estate team that sold me my home – I feel like there was a lot of questionable advice. No one could have predicted how difficult the economy of the US has become – but their continuous encouragement of buying become pretty heavy handed at times.

Homebuyers around the United States are increasingly considering how professional the real estate advice they were provided at the time of their purchase really was. While we don’t expect perfect foresight – encouraging people to buy homes at very risky debt ratios seemed to have been a trend in some markets.

An attorney is the best resource to help you evaluate whether you were misled in any way for your real estate transaction. With Northern Nevada including Reno, Carson City, Fernley, and Fallon being one of the worst real estate markets in the country – after Las Vegas — Nevada attorneys are key to evaluating your case whether it has any merit.

Everyone in the US who owns a home has lost money, but some of those were given advice that just wasn’t reasonable. Consult a lawyer or attorney to find out if you may have a case in situations of extreme negligence.

We got tired of the bill collectors calling. I had lost my job, and things just weren’t going well. I knew we could get back on our feet soon – but too many trips with the Mastercard had run their course. It was time to look into some alternatives. Bankruptcy wasn’t how I wanted to go – but I wanted to make sure I understood my options. James F. Sloan is a good choice to consider. He’s located right in Fallon Nevada at 977 West Williams Avenue. He’s skilled in the area of bankruptcy law and can help us get out of this hole. He’s a small (one person) firm and graduated from the University of Nevada (our school!). Take care of yourself, and give a James a call on bankruptcy around Nevada at 775-423-3006. Note: This is not an advertisement or offer to practice law. This is an informational guide only.

Terry Friedman, Nevada Attorney

April 19th, 2007

If you live in Fallon or Fernley and need a good lawyer – it’s likely you know of Terry Friedman from advertising and the phone book advertising. He’s got a great picture of himself with a horse and looks pretty smart. His practice is centered mainly on personal injury cases; wrongful death; legal malpractice — and other heavy hitter cases. Of course he is a member of the Nevada Bar Association and American Bar Association plus many other orgs. If you want a well funded, larger firm for this type of case — Terry Friedman may be worth the drive from Fallon or Fernley Nevada. Heck – one of his people might even drive out to see you — for the right case. Note / Disclaimer: This is a review and does not represent legal advice or guidance of any kind.
